Dedicated to building a safer and more compliant future through technology and innovation

At Door Data Systems, our mission was clear from the start: to create a market-leading, independent, and user-friendly application that supports every sector involved in fire door compliance. From manufacturers to installers, inspectors to responsible persons—we’ve built a system that works for everyone.

Understanding the fire door industry across all trades was key to building what many now describe as the most advanced fire door management system on the market. By combining the in-house expertise of our team with insights from a broad cohort of industry professionals, we designed a powerful tool that connects every link in the fire door lifecycle, delivering meaningful benefits at every stage.

During development, it became evident that the industry had long struggled with fragmented data and isolated workflows. Critical information was locked away, creating unnecessary risk and inefficiency. We knew things had to change—and so did the forward-thinking companies who joined us early on, recognising the need for transparent, shareable fire door data.

New app users

With tightening regulations and rising expectations, our platform has helped shift the culture. Our partners—as we proudly call our users—embrace our ethos of open, traceable compliance. Together, we’re establishing a national standard in fire door management.

From concept to execution, we had a clear vision not just for how Door Data Systems would launch, but how it would grow—continually evolving in collaboration with our users to ensure the system always delivers more value than it costs.

Our focus remains on driving cultural change across the industry, empowering every stakeholder to evidence their work, reduce risk, and contribute to safer buildings—door by door.
